Location: I am a French Tutor in Paris
I am a very patient, enthusiastic and dynamic French Teacher. I love to share my knowledge of the language and to discover French culture. As I adapt very quickly, you can just tell me what are your motivations so that I can adapt the course to your needs and make you progress quickly. I like providing this kind of service and I am ready to work day, night, even on weekends to allow everyone to have a native teacher at his disposal. There are many other things I like to do, but it will be up to you to ask when we get to know each other better.
After determining the level of the students, I adapt my teaching to their specific needs. I focus my approach on their motivations to learn the language. I offer comprehension activities and written and oral exercises (reading, writing, listening, video, conversation …). I help the student to make their pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary perfect. I give clear explanations using specific examples and concrete situations. The grammar explanations are in ENGLISH. I help the student to communicate naturally so that he/she enjoys it. I provide a report of the lesson and give some exercises for the next session.
I was born in France but I speak English fluently. How? I first studied English at the University of Caen and I taught English in Primary School, College and High School. I then moved to Great Britain where I obtained the PGCE (State Diploma for Teaching French as a Foreign Language) at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and taught French in Primary, Middle and High School for 9 years. I came back to France with my husband and children in 2009.
Registered French Teacher: I am currently on availability of the National Education where I teach English in college (students aged 11 to 15) and in high school (students aged 15 to 18).
French Tutoring for Kids: I have taught French for 9 years in England, in Primary School (pupils aged 9 to 11) and in college / high school (students aged 11 to 18).
