Last May 2019, I obtained my certificate to teach as an EFL teacher, I am able to Teach you French & English as a foreign language. That's what I'm currently doing in a Thai school in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I'm a French Tutor based here in Bangkok and the method I use for my Online French classes is the 3 P. I do not speak Thai, so I do not translate words that I use during my lessons. 1) Presentation: The subject and the vocabulary are introduced through images mainly. The vocabulary is repeated many times and, if the subject allows it, I integrate the vocabulary with sentences/situations. I teach ideas more than words because I do not translate the vocabulary that I present. 2) Practice: Students then become more active during the lesson and will perform an exercise (the lesson remains on the board). The first step is to demonstrate this exercise on the board by giving an example and completing it together. Then the students will work inpidually and I will check their work and encourage them as they complete the exercise. The correction of the exercise is made when they are finished. The sentences/words are repeated orally. 3) Production: The information is deleted from the table. We focus on the oral aspect of the French lesson. Each student must have a chance to practice the lesson orally. I propose an exercise they must perform in duet.
