Hey! I'm Ivka. I know, it doesn't sound like a French name, but I still speak like a native one! Who am I? I’m originally from Croatia, but I was born and raised in Switzerland. WHERE DO I LIVE? I am a French tutor in Paris, France. Last year when I traveled in Asia and I realized how much I love discovering different cultures by teaching the French language! My experience with the French language are: - I started learning French when I was 7 years old and studied it for more than 20 years. - In 2014 and 2015 I got the DELF and DALF, French diplomas for the advanced French language. - In 2015 I moved to France and studied business administration. Since then I’ve always been volunteering in social activities. - In 2017 I graduated and get a French diploma as an Executive Assistant. - In 2018 I got my Bachelor in Business administration and worked for different companies in France. - In 2020 I got the CAVILLAM certificate “Teaching French as a Foreign Language”. During the last 10 years, I’ve been teaching the French language to kids (from 5 to 12 years old), tutoring teenagers, and giving some help to adults with the language. I am currently working as a Virtual Assistant and I am a language tutor for learners in prison. What is my skill? Even if I’m a French native speaker today, I still know what it means to be a French learner.
