Bonjour! I am Grace and I hold a DEUG (BAC + 2) in Mathematics at the University of Douala in Cameroon. I am diligent, practical and very organized. I like exploration and discovery. Also, I am fond of sports, reading, music and cinema. I'm a French tutor living in Yaounde and I help my students learn French, I start with discovering their current level through a simple conversation. I strongly believe that culture and language are quite inter-related and thus, I put emphasis on my students' knowledge of French culture, what they know about French and Francophone countries so that they can take a deep breath and become familiar with traditions and traditional expressions. This actually allows them to better understand the French language and its turns. Then I work on the structure of the sentences and teach some common expressions of the vocabulary. At the end of each lesson I give simple exercises to be checked during the next session. As a Private French Tutor, I am very adaptive and flexible. I also invite them to discover the richness of Francophone culture through music, books, theater, cinema, etc. We can choose some French movies and books and discuss some aspects after watching/reading them.
