I graduated in 2013 with a bachelor's degree. In 2016, I got my English LLCE license. I obtained a certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). In 2018, I have my Master's degree in FLE / FSL (teaching French as a foreign language and second). I am a Native French Tutor & have been teaching French as a foreign language for over three years. I gave tutoring online and face to face, as well as group classes in language schools including the Alliance Française. As a French Tutor here in Bogota, my teaching method is based on communication. The goal is to let students express themselves verbally and then use relevant vocabulary in writing. I teach grammar and vocabulary in context. I use the student's native language as little as possible, but it is entirely possible for me to explain grammar concepts in the mother tongue if necessary. I work on 4 skills: oral and written comprehension, and oral and written production. I also evaluate the communicative skills of the student. I use written documents, audio, audiovisual, images, comics, newspaper articles, web pages, etc. Resources are perse and varied to help the students stay motivated.
