Hello ! My name is Chantal. I am a French language teacher, certified by the French Ministry of National Education. I am French and have taught English in France for seventeen years. Now, I am a French tutor living in Georgia, USA where I have been teaching French for 10 years. When I was younger, I learned English and Spanish so I know how difficult learning a new language can seem. But in fact, it's a lot of fun! I like to share a variety of resources with my students, like songs, videos, comics, games, etc. There are so many ways to learn! I really want to create courses that match your needs, goals and interests. I also like to use online resources like Languages on Line, Quizlet, Bonjour de France… and others to facilitate your learning of vocabulary, structures and grammar, as well as Google Classroom and Padlet to help you organize your work. As I mentioned before, I like to vary the resources. And of course, the most important thing is to have conversations about them. So ... that's what we're going to do: we'll be talking about many different topics, and you'll see that very soon, you'll be able to express your ideas ... in French! Of course, we'll also learn more about grammar rules and conjugations, but more often than not we'll include them in a conversation, and you'll barely notice them! I also have experience in preparing students for Delf or Dalf. These are diplomas issued by the Ministry of National Education, valid for life and recognized throughout the world. They prove the French skills of non-French people. They can make the difference when you are applying to college or even for a job. I really encourage all of my students to take the exams. If you decide to do it please let me know, I can help you in this area as well. I am a positive, kind and patient teacher and look forward to welcoming you to my French tutoring via online class. I warmly invite you to book a trial class with me!
