Bribery and Corruption in France

France is among the top 25 countries when it comes to Corruption Perception Index of Government organizations in the world, recognized as least corrupt  compared to other 176 countries.

The law & regulations in France are very strict and there are huge penalties against corruption. Courtesy of the the France legal system, French people have witnessed various investigations and convictions of the corrupt public leaders & businessman.

France has approved & implemented OECD Anti-Bribery Convention since 2000. This was done by corrections to the Criminal code, which covers article 435-3 where the charges are made for the offer or promise of a bribe.
